Restorative Workshop

With Hilly Hannken
 Friday 31st January 2020
10 – 12.30pm
At: Meadow Road Yoga
Lifecycle Yoga: Winter Warmer
This year we will stop to appreciate the seasons with a series of restorative workshops.

In these sessions we will play with some gentle stretching leading into longer holds in poses where blocks, bolsters and blankets support the body giving us the space to turn inwards and appreciate our inner landscape and the play of the breath and prana (life-force/energy) within.

Posture, breath work and guided relaxation will be related to the outer season and we will have time to pause, noticing the reflection of this on our inner world.

I intend for these sessions to be held at our home studio Meadow Road Yoga, Meadow Road, Malvern.

It is always a great pleasure for me to facilitate Restorative Yoga sessions.

Space is limited so please register your interest immediately.

Yoga Nidra Workshop image1

Yoga Dreaming

A day retreat workshop with Theo Wildcroft

Saturday 12th March 2016

10 – 4pm
In this full day workshop, we’ll be dreaming into Spring together with a little gentle movement, and a lot of deep, restful yoga nidra. This subtle, gentle technique is one of yoga’s most nurturing responses for managing the symptoms of stress and fatigue, but it can also be a powerful tool for inner transformation and unleashing the creativity of the heart’s deepest desires. We’ll be combining this with opportunities to set intentions for the year ahead; listening for the quiet still voices of inner wisdom, and tuning in to the natural world that nourishes all our growing projects.

There will be a little gentle shared movement, suitable for all bodies, and as well as the practices on the day, there will be the opportunity for all attendees to download a yoga nidra audio file to use at home. This workshop is suitable for all levels of ability and energy, but a basic familiarity with yoga terms and ideas will be useful.
Please bring a veggie dish to share for lunch

Restorative Yoga Courseyoga-5

Spring 2015

Fridays: 6 – 8pm

The Friends’ Meeting House,

Orchard Road, Malvern, WR14 3DA

Using props (especially bolsters) to support the body to promote stillness which allows us to experience our practice on a more deep and profound level. in this way we often learn principles that translate back into our more dynamic practice and find things come a little more easy here too. Energy levels are restored in a subtle way, stress is relieved and deep relaxation occurs.

Theraputic aplication of such postures can aid restful sleep, reduce stress and anxiety, ease menstrual and menopausal symptoms.

Or just come because you love relaxing deeply!

Suitable for all levels of yoga experience

£60 for the course
